New joys are once again arising at Veislyne Medeinas giraitė. Eleven wonderful puppies have been born, and they are eagerly getting ready to embark on new adventures alongside their future owners. The parents of these puppies are experienced and reliable hunters, having successfully obtained spring field test diplomas and actively participating in hunting activities. Moreover, both parents hold prestigious Lithuanian championship titles, while ELAS boasts additional titles as the champion of Latvia, Estonia, and the Baltic region. The puppies will undergo thorough testing to assess their hunting abilities, ensuring that they possess the necessary qualities for both hunting purposes and being delightful companions at home. Kedra Medeinas giraitė, who is 2 years old, participated in this year's specialized bird dog club "Vižlas" show. She performed exceptionally well and received high evaluations from the judges, earning her the prestigious title of Club Champion. Congratulations to Kedra on this outstanding achievement!
In 2023, we once again participated in the spring field tests of the young dog field trial organized by the bird dog club "Vižlas." Out of the three breeding puppies that took part, all of them received first-degree diplomas. Congratulations to Sav. Andrius G. with Miltė Medeinas giraitė, born on September 17, 2021 (parents: Quent lll vom Neuarenberg & Gilė Medeinas giraitė), who scored the maximum of 112 points. Also, congratulations to Andrius R. with Nordas Medeinas giraitė, born on March 16, 2022 (parents: Congas Medeinas giraitė & Berta), who scored 101 points. Lastly, congratulations to Artūras V. with Mona Quenta Medeinas giraitė, born on September 17, 2021 (parents: Quent lll vom Neuarenberg & Gilė Medeinas giraitė), who scored 108 points.
This year we were invited to participate in several events and show what German shorthaired pointer are capable of. One of the events was Šakiai district. Gotlybiškiu village, the event "My pet and I" is being organized. Another event is celebration of Saint Hubert's Day in Raudone Castle. In both events, we showed the hunting abilities of German shorthaired pointer from the kennel "Medeinas giraitė". Several programs were conducted to demonstrate dogs general obedience, retrieving aport and a show small hunting program.
In 2022, as always, we actively participated in dog shows and have a whole bunch of new champions. MONA QUENTA MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ became the Lithuanian Youth Champion (LTJCH). BERETTA FOM FELDADLER became the champion of Lithuania (LTCH). KEDRA MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ became the Lithuanian champion (LTCH). Amora became the champion of Lithuanian veterans (LTVCH).
HUBERTA is a super girl, 2022 became the champion of Estonia (EECH), and at the same time confirmed the title of Baltic champion (BALTCH). She also took part in the dog show of hunting bird dogs club "Vižlas" and became the champion of the Lithuanian club (LTKLCH). Also, Huberta took part in the autumn field trial test (HZP) and was evaluated with 3st degree diploma.
Kennel "Medeinas giraitė" participated in the club show of hunting bird dogs club "Vižlas". In which our dogs were nominated, MONA QUENTA MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ with the title of Lithuanian Youth Club Champion (LTJKLCH) and HUBERTA MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ with the title of Lithuanian Club Champion (LTKLCH).
This year, Beretta participated in the spring young dogs field trial tests, which took place in Poland. It was well appreciated by the judges. Having collected the maximum number of points, she received a 1st degree diploma. He also participated in field tests of young dogs organized in Latvia, where the judges gave him the maximum number of points. Beretta received another 1st degree diploma.
Kedra took part in the spring young dogs field tests (VJP) in Lithuania and after scoring 109(max 112) points, she was nominated for a 1st degree diploma.
This year, our kennel became the first German shorthaired pointer kennel in Lithuania, which has a kennel status confirmation.
In 2021, CONGAS MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ took part in blood tracer field tests (following 8-16 hours old blood traces)(SwP) and was evaluated with a 1st degree diploma, having scored 110 points. He also took part in the international (CACIT) vise tests(HZP) and was awarded a 3st degree diploma with 230 points.
On 05/22/2021, we participated in the spring young dogs field tests (VJP). All participating dogs of our kennel took the highest places: 1st place HUBERTA MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ. Having collected a maximum of 112 points, she was awarded a 1st degree diploma. 2nd place GILĖ MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ. Having collected a maximum of 112 points, she was awarded a 1st degree diploma. 3rd place HELLA MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ, owner Tomas Balčiūnas. Having collected 108 points, she was awarded a 1st degree diploma.
In 2021, dogs from our kennel participated in dogs show organized in Latvia. In which, they were nominated as Latvian championn (LVCH), HUBERTA MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ. Latvian youth champions (LVJCH) BERETTA VOM FELDADLER.
In 2021, we participated in many dogs show held in Lithuania. After excellent evaluations, the titles of Lithuanian champion (LTCH) were awarded EMBER MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ, BERTA,HUBERTA MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ.And Lithuanian youth champion (LTJCH) were awarded BERETTA VOM FELDADLER.
ELAS MEDEINOS GIRAITĖ, who collected the championship titles of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. In 2021, he became the champion of the Baltic countries (BALTCH).
